Just over a month ago our little man had his birthday (yeah) and being the mum and dad that we are we decided that the week after his birthday he would have a small operation… I know mean aren’t we…
Since the operation though he has come along in leaps and bounds! Brad and I have to really watch what we are saying around him now (more so then before) cause he is such a little parrot! He has grown a little and has put on weight to (something that the doctors warned us he would do) so I am not complaining about that, even though we are still having the potty training issue…
Katherine is trying to do more and say more now to. I think she feels left behind a little with Johnathan jumping so far ahead all of a sudden. A friend of mine went garage sailing over the weekend and found a little stroller for our little miss… oh lord the screams of joy from her! She loves it! Although 3 babies in one little stroller…
Wanted to do photos of the children a few weeks ago and found a local mummy who has started her own photography studio, so off to the park and an hour later we had a few new photos to treasure. Some of them are set up but most are just snaps when the kids think something else is going on. The kids had a blast, while Brad and I got to watch someone else run after them for an hour.
Brad has been working hard (or so he thinks) but was a little down a few weeks ago after applying for a new position he was knocked back. Not the first time he has applied for the position and I don’t think it will be the last.
I have been applying for jobs too, though I wonder if it will be worth me working and having the children in full time day care. I know that it is good for them to go for the few days a week that they do cause I have seen how much they are learning (even if there are a few bad habits coming home) and doing.
Well that is about it for now… cannot wait to see what Friday brings for me! Birthday number 28 here I come!
